On March 3, 2015, Korean hip hop artist, San E released a music video for “#HIPHOPISHIPHOP.” The song and music video features an international rap collective called Hip Hop For The World. San E told Billboard, “‘#HIPHOPISHIPHOP’ is my high school dream…'” His goal was to let everyone know that Hip Hop is worldwide, and with this collaboration he has done just that.
The Hip Hop For The World collective includes San E from Korea, Italy’s own Strike The Head, Bosnia’s Frenkie, Singapore’s Pendekar, India’s Adx, Portugal’s Valete, Mr Phormula from Wales, Indonesia’s Yacko, Bangladesh’s SadmAnn, Japan’s Julian Nagano, Egypt’s Deeb, Taiwan’s Mr. Skin, Finland’s Redrama, and the USA’s own legendary KRS-One. “#HIPHOPISHIPHOP” is does not only have a great global message and visual, it is also for a charitable cause, children’s education. All the proceeds from the charity single will be donated to UNICEF.
