Janelle Monae and Wondaland Protest Police Brutality

The creative, progressive and uber talented collective and record label we know as Wondaland Records have been on a promotional tour showing off the amazing talent on the record label as well as joining in the front lines of protest against police brutality.  At several stops on the label’s tour promoting their collaborative project “Eephus”, which featured music from each of the labels artists’, the group took it to the streets and joined with the people in each city with marches and organized protests against police brutality.  Using their new track “Hell You Talmbout” as the battle and rallying anthem to bring attention to loved ones lost by those in attendance, who were killed unjustly by the hands of the police and/or other government departments.  See Hip Hip Gives Back’s footage below from the march and protest in Atlanta on August 31, 2015. #HYTB
