A Message from The Original Soup Man

The Original Soupman Locations
Hoboken, NJ | Jersey City, NJ | Staten Island, NY | Coney Island | Far Rockaway | Jersey Shore
The Original SoupMan, the soups that inspired the “No Soup for You!” Seinfeld episode, is based in Staten Island and is making its own daily contribution to the Hurricane Sandy relief efforts by serving free, hot bowls of soup to anyone in need from The Original SoupMan SoupTruck. As the weather gets colder, the need will grow. They’ve served between 400-500 bowls of soup to those in need daily.

To help them continue to serve our neighbors with free bowls of hot soup, we need your help.

The Original SoupMan has launched a fundraising campaign through Al’s Feed The Hungry Foundation, a 501c3 non-profit organization launched by The Original SoupMan in 2005. Al’s Feed The Hungry Foundation donates funds and soup to local hunger charities, including soup kitchens and food pantries. Baseball Hall-of-Famer, Reggie Jackson, an equity partner in The Original SoupMan and long-time brand ambassador, serves as chairman of Al’s Feed The Hungry Foundation. “Al” is Al Yeganeh, THE Original SoupMan, whose strict ordering rules were parodied on Seinfeld.

A $10 donation will helps feed approximately 15 people.

People can donate whatever they can afford by visiting http://originalsoupman.com/good-deeds. Donations are accepted via credit card or PayPal accounts.

We greatly appreciate your support in helping us spread the word. And we are awed by the strength and resiliency of our neighbors.
